A good executive résumé writer might spend more time interviewing you than creating your résumé. That’s how the most effective résumés are created.
The back-and-forth editing process also teaches you how you’ll need to present yourself – not only on paper, but during phone calls, zoom meetings and in-person interviews, as well.
The best executive career consultants can’t get your résumé done “ASAP” because you’ve got an interview later this week – unless you want to pay a hefty rush fee.
Don’t wait until you see the job opening of your dreams or until you’ve landed an interview via networking (before you submit your résumé) to start looking for a professional résumé writer, or you’ll end up with a mid-level or even junior writer.
Fees
Executive résumé, cover letter and LinkedIn packages often cost between $1,500 and $2,500. I do executive résumé writing for enjoyment and supplemental income and therefore do not need to charge these inflated prices.
